An industry takes notice
Nationwide ASDA Deal
Within months of founding the brand, ASDA Opticians recognise the work of Cambridge Spectacle Co. A national deal is agreed and ASDA agree to distribute over 10,000 spectacles across their 157 stores nationwide. Designs sell out within weeks.
Welcome to a new experience
First Store Opens
Following the success of the distribution deal with ASDA, Cambridge Spectacle Co opens the first concept store in Cheltenham and registers over 1,000 patients in just six months. A new eyewear experience is born.
Expansion begins
London and Birmingham
We acquire Glimpse Opticians in the Great Western Arcade and Kerk Davies in North London. The stores are rebranded and merged with the Cambridge Spectacle Co experience.
